Herb Distributions
PMP partners with the Pioneer Valley Workers Center’s mutual aid program to provide access to herbs and remedies for farm workers and their families. We believe in the power of re-distributing plant medicine resources, especially to the communities that have ancestral traditions of using plants for physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Herb distros also provide an opportunity for PMP herbalists and volunteers to receive and share wisdom about medicinal plants and holistic healing modalities.
Distros provide:
- Free medicinal plant starts in Spring and summer
- Access to bulk medicinal herbs
- Herbal Consultations including personalized remedies, follow up care, and refills.
- Medicinal salves for pain and inflammation
- Tea blends and herbal remedies
PMP’s herb distro is offered in collaboration with the Workers Center Food distributions in Springfield and Turner’s Falls. Distros occur twice a month. All herbs and remedies are offered freely. Spanish translation services are available at herb distros in Springfield.
